• Do not share hats, scarves, headphones, ribbons, barrettes, or any other object or clothing item that touches the head.
• Refrain from playing "head to head" games, and close personal contact such as hugging.

• Do not roll around carpets, and be careful of community pillows and cloth covered furniture.
• Braid Long Hair every day.
• Use hair products that may help hair less attractive to lice.
• Check your child's hair frequently.
• Look for signs of scratching.
